Pros of Interssesion

The week of June 19th through June 23rd, that Friday, we’ll have our first Intersession Friday. Intersession Fridays are to help you catch up on work that you may be missing or behind on. Your Focus Group teacher will send out an email if you are behind in a class or multiple classes, recommending you to that class for intersession. It starts at 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, giving you three hours and thirty minutes to just focus on one or multiple subjects that you have to catch up. You don’t have to be recommended to go, but you’re not required to go to Intersession Friday either.

A student who is going to go to Intersession Friday will be able to select their own classes. There are multiple subjects that you can pick and you can also pick what teacher you want to have during that time. If nothing conflicts or if there isn’t too many students signing up for that class, then you will be able to get the classes you need to catch up on. Intersession Friday is there to help our JPEC students. You’re not forced to go, but you can if you do need help; or if you want to move further ahead, as moving ahead is what JPEC is known for.
