Students vs. Staff Basketball Game (Staff)

The staff vs student basketball games played out on Friday, June 9th at 9:30 AM until 12:25 PM, over at the Victor Cuiss Fieldhouse. With the staff against students, the staff won both the first and second game. The game was played to work on team building and for fun!

The staff who played were, Miss Ortell, Mr. Marowelli, Miss Vanwarmer, Miss Shaw, Mr. Mohler, Ramona, Miss Shirk, Doc B, Miss Hillman, Mrs. Sager, Mr, Llerena, Mrs. Elfe, and Mr. Malmquist. The students who played were Andrew, John, Noah, Matthew, Liz, Daniel, Cole, Emma, Janet, Andrea, Samantha Caldwell, Andreanna, Zach, Corbin, Jahmon, Noah D, Lauryn, Jade, CJ, Malachite, Hassan, and Alex Mishaw. Students also volunteered to be referees, Hassan, Lucas, Ron, Lucas, and Chase. Students began the first game and the first half was 15 to 15 tying, then the first game ended 38 points for staff and 29 points for students. The next, and final game ended with the staff at 22 and the students at 21. Though most students believe the students had a disadvantage, this is not true, a good example of the staff having a disadvantage was when Jordan Q guarded Doc B, he is way taller than him. Good job staff on winning both games!
