Upcoming Book Fair

Strange boxes appearing in the conference room, signs being hung all over the school, this can only mean one thing. This week, from Monday, June 26 to Thursday, June 29, the Scholastic Buy One Get One Free Book Fair has come to JPEC. This book fair includes, posters, pencils, and of course books, which are all buy one get one free. The items must only be of lesser or equal value. The book buying hours are from 8:30-9:00 in the morning before school, and after school until 4:45 in the afternoon Monday through Wednesday. The book fair will still be open during morning conferences, from 7:30 to 9:30 in the morning on Thursday. It will be held, as normal, in the conference room on the right just down the hall from the main doors.

As well as being a great opportunity to stock up on books for summer reading, these book fairs help the school too. Every purchase also helps the school expand its classroom libraries. In the fall book fair, we received over $400 dollars of free books for the school. Any kind of book you need is likely to be in the book fair, from mystery to comic books, this book fair has them. Posters are also available, as well as school supplies such as pens, erasers, highlighters, and more. If you still have another book project due, this event could let you find the perfect book for your project. Remember, the buy one get one free book fair will be ending at 9:30 in the morning, Thursday June 29.
