Long Strides, Good Times

On September 13, our JPEC high school cross country team competed in a race at Eaton Rapids High School. They competed against seven other teams, and two of our racers got in the top ten. All the while, they competed even though it was over 80 degrees! Heat and long distance is not a good combination for running, but they still pulled through and gave it their best! They ran 5,000 meters, and the team got 5th overall. They all did a stupendous job, and we’re very proud of our falcons. This is only the beginning of the season! We have lots more races to come.
