A few weeks ago, the sixth grade went on a field trip to a YMCA camp for an entire school week. The student got to partake in fun activities that they don’t always have access to here in Jackson. I sat down with Micah Ortell and discussed how the trip went for him. For him, the experience was overall fun. This was a fun trip for him because he was given time to spend with his friends, climb a 50-ft tower, ride horses, and the food was an extra bonus. At the end of the trip, the sixth graders had such a good time that most of them would go on again in a heartbeat.
